According to these regulations, the front windshield must allow at least 75% of light transmission, and the front side windows must allow at least 70% of light transmission. There are no rules for the rear side windows and rear windshield, but it is recommended to maintain a visible light transmission (VLT) of at least 20%. FAQS
Can I wash my car after installing window tint?
Yes, there will not be any issues caused by the vehicle’s exterior being washed or, for that matter, rained on because all of the window films are installed on the windows’ interior. Ensure that the inside of the windows is not cleaned for 48hrs and or rolled down.
How long should you wait before rolling down the windows after having them tinted?
Following the installation of window film, it is strongly suggested that you keep the windows of your car rolled up for at least one full day. Before rolling the window, the film needs sufficient time to harden and attach to the surface of the glass.
How long does it take for the window tint to fade?
If you keep up with the necessary maintenance, a regular window tint should last up to 5 years. Films will become less vivid with time, but if they are properly maintained, they should remain usable for several years. Additionally, high-grade films have the potential to stay in good condition for up to ten years.
