The Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations of 1986 establish the regulations for window tinting in Wigan, England. According to these regulations, the front windshield must allow at least 75% of light transmission, and the front side windows must allow at least 70% of light transmission. There are no rules for the rear side windows and rear windshield, but it is recommended to maintain a visible light transmission (VLT) of at least 20%.
